Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss was born July 23rd, 1971 in the city of Decatur, Illinois. LeAnn Kymes and Krauss were among the Grammy Award winners who were among the youngest. Alison Maria Krauss was born in July of 1971. Alison is a bluegrass and country singer. As a teenager, she began her journey into the music scene and was a winner of local contests as early as 10 years of age and recording her debut album at 14 years. She signed to Rounder Records, her first album came out in 1987. She was also invited to the group Alison Krauss Union Station where she still performs. In 1989, she released her first solo album, her first solo album was released with them.
