Charissa Thompson
Thompson she left FOX Sports for Yahoo Sports in 2010, as well as hosted Versus Sports. She hosted Versus' NHL studio coverage and also recorded web-based video on the popular Yahoo platform. She was also responsible for Yahoo Sports' presence at major sporting events like those of the 2010 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl XLV and the BCS National Championship. She was a successful host at both events, which made her join ESPN in August 2011. As a host, she hosted the recently created afternoon program "Numbers Never Lie" on the network. The show was later changed towards "SportsNation," she enjoyed an unending run of successes. Thompson left ESPN when FS1 launched the following month in Los Angeles, May 2013 to go back the city of Los Angeles. An avid sports enthusiast, Thompson has also shown an impressive range of skills to cross over into the entertainment realm of television. In June of 2014, following various part-time roles, Thompson was appointed as a permanent co-host for the Hollywood nightly newsmagazine "Extra". As a co-host was a producer in Universal Studios as well as hosted award shows as well as celebrity events regularly.
