
Jennifer Grey, born March 26 1960 in Los Angeles, is an American actress. Her acting debut was with Reckless (1984) and she had her breakthrough with Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986). After starring in Dirty Dancing (1987), an intimate drama about love, Frances Houseman earned her worldwide fame. Other feature films she has appeared in include Red Dawn (1984), The Cotton Club (1984), Bloodhounds of Broadway (1989) Bounce (2000), Redbelt (2008), The Wind Rises (2013), In Your Eyes (2014), Duck Duck Goose (2018), and Bittersweet Symphony (2019). Grey's television work started with Murder in Mississippi (1990), Criminal Justice (1989) as well as If the Shoe Fits (2019). She also starred as Kelly Carter in the comedy Red Oaks on Amazon Prime Video. Grey has also done voice work in film and television, including the film of the year Duck Duck Goose and the animated television show Phineas and Ferb in 2008.
